1. Acceptance of Terms
   By entering Madison Avenue Rivonia (“the Club”) or attending any event therein, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not enter or remain on the premises.
2. Right of Admission Reserved
   2.1 The Club reserves the right of admission.
   2.2 Management or security personnel may refuse entry or request that you leave for any lawful reason, including—but not limited to—breach of these Terms & Conditions, disruptive behavior, intoxication, or non-compliance with our dress code or safety policies.
   2.3 The Club reserves the right to conduct searches of persons, belongings, or vehicles (where permissible by law) to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, and property.
3. Age Restrictions
   3.1 Entry is restricted to individuals of 18 years of age or older, in compliance with South African law.
   3.2 Valid, government-issued photo identification is required for entry (e.g., ID book, driver’s license, or passport).
   3.3 Management reserves the right to refuse entry if valid proof of age cannot be provided.
4. Dress Code
   Patrons must adhere to the dress code policy set by the Club. The Club may, at its sole discretion, refuse entry to those not meeting dress code standards.
5. Conduct and Behavior
   5.1 Patrons must behave in a manner that respects other guests, staff, and property. Abusive, offensive, or violent behavior is grounds for immediate removal.
   5.2 Any illegal or unauthorized activity, including possession or use of illegal substances, is strictly prohibited and may result in ejection and/or referral to law enforcement agencies.
   5.3 Please respect Club staff and follow any instructions aimed at maintaining safety and order.
6. Photography & Media Release
   6.1 Right of Admission Includes Consent to Photography/Recording
   By entering the Club, you acknowledge that photography or video recording may occur. Your entry into the venue constitutes your express and irrevocable consent to be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for promotional or commercial use by Madison Avenue Rivonia.
   6.2 Opting Out
   If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please avoid posing for photographers/videographers. If you accidentally appear in an image or video, you may request the photographer to delete it at the time the photo is taken. However, once images have been shared with or uploaded by the Club, deletion cannot be guaranteed.
   6.3 Use of Images
   Any images or footage (including but not limited to photographs, videos, or audio recordings) captured at the Club, or submitted to the Club’s marketing team, may be uploaded “as is” to Madison Avenue Rivonia’s website, social media platforms, or other promotional channels without further notice or compensation.
   6.4 Media and Intellectual Property
   The Club reserves all rights in any media (photos, videos, recordings) captured on its premises. Madison Avenue Rivonia may use, reproduce, distribute, and display these materials in any medium now known or later developed, for any lawful purpose related to the Club’s operations, marketing, or promotions.
7. Limitation of Liability
   7.1 The Club, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death whatsoever, whether to person or property, arising out of or in connection with attendance at the Club—except where liability cannot be excluded under South African law.
   7.2 Patrons attend and remain on the premises entirely at their own risk.
8. Personal Property
   8.1 The Club is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property, whether such property is left unattended or stored in a cloakroom (if applicable).
   8.2 Patrons are advised to keep personal items with them at all times.
9. Privacy and POPIA Compliance
   9.1 Any personal information collected (e.g., through guest lists, competitions, or online bookings) will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
   9.2 The Club may use your contact details to send newsletters or event notifications, but you may opt out at any time.
10. Refusal of Service and Removal
    The Club reserves the right to refuse service or require a patron to leave the premises without refund for any lawful reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms & Conditions, misconduct, or if a patron poses a threat to the safety or enjoyment of others.
11. Indemnification
    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Madison Avenue Rivonia, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms & Conditions or your activities on the premises.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
    Madison Avenue Rivonia reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated T&Cs will be posted at the Club’s entrance and/or made available via our official website or social media channels.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
